Tired of WhatsApp? Here’s how to go ‘invisible’ on WhatsApp without deleting it.

WhatsApp

There is something still missing in WhatsApp -- the ability to go invisible. It's easy to log out of most social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook or Snapchat and go invisible to earn some ‘me time’. However, when it comes to WhatsApp, as long as you have it on your smartphone, you simply can’t get rid of it. So, if you are planning to go “invisible” on WhatsApp, there is no simple option apart from deleting the app. However, it is not possible to delete and reinstall WhatsApp every time you wish to go invisible for a limited period of time.

Whether you have switched off ‘Blue tick read receipts’ or not, the sender in a way always gets a hint as to whether you have read the message or not. This is because the moment you open WhatsApp, you are shown as ‘Online’ to your contacts. Now, officially, there is not a one-tap solution to silence WhatsApp for a limited time period. Having said this is how you can still manage to go “invisible” on WhatsApp by tweaking the settings a bit without rooting your Android phone.
